Emer Finnan, a chartered accountant and financial services professional partner and president for Europe with Kildare Partners, has been appointed to the board of Bank of Ireland Group and the Court of Directors of The Governor and Company of the Bank of Ireland. She also joins the audit and risk committees. She has also worked in Investec, EBS, NCB Corporate Finance, ABN AMRO UK and Salomon Brothers UK. She qualified as a chartered accountant with KPMG in Dublin. She is on the boards of Glenveagh Properties, the Ireland Fund of Great Britain and Kildare Acquisitions Ireland. She was previously on the boards of Britvic and C&C Group.
