Watch: Homes, cars set ablaze in Northern Ireland over alleged sexual assault

Hundreds of masked rioters attacked police and set homes and cars on fire in the Northern Irish town of Ballymena on Tuesday (June 10) in the second successive night of disorder.

Officers in riot gear responded with water cannon and plastic baton rounds after being attacked by petrol bombs, scaffolding and rocks. Police said they were dealing with "serious disorder" in the town about 45 km (30 miles) from the capital Belfast, and urged people to avoid the area.
